UPCOMING EVENTS AND STUFF



YOUNG CHURCH (pre-school and primary ages) and YOUTH CONNEXION (teenagers) meet during the morning service re-starting Sunday 22nd August.

YOUTH CONNEXION
The Youth Connexion are going to Arran on the week-end 3/5 September and will be taking part in a sponsored cycle run on Saturday 4 September, with all proceeds of the day going to “Prince and Princes of Wales Hospice”.

If you can sponsor an individual or the group as a whole, please see Libby Porter, Lisa Jolly or Alex Jack. We will have a sponsor sheet on the notice board where you can put your name and pledge. We hope to be joined on the cycle run by some of the youth from Brodick Parish Church, including the minister, Reverend Angus Adamson.

Thought for the Day on BBC Radio Scotland This goes out each weekday morning between 7.15 and 7.30 am on the programme Good Morning Scotland.

As David our minister has been told he has the perfect face for radio he is regularly invited to contribute. His next broadcast will be lited here when we know




Stamp appeal
Please collect your used postage stamps and hand them in at the church over the next few months. They will be sent to the World Mission Stamp Appeal to aid the Girl's Hostel at St Columba's in Sialkot, Pakistan.

AMICALE - usually the first Monday evening of each month at Hanover House on "in" evenings.


MEN'S ASSOCIATION
- Wednesday eveings at 7.30pm in Newlands South Church.


GUILD - Tuesday afternoons 2pm - 4pm - at the Cargill Club.


GIRL GUIDES - Thursdays at 7.30pm in Battlefield Primary School


KOFFEE KLUB - Tuesday mornings at 10.30am in the Cargill Centre
